Samsung Galaxy S7 launch on Different sizes Next February 20th

Samsung's next major smartphones, expected to be called the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, respectively, could launch February 20, according to blog SamMobile, and come in two different sizes, according to South Korea'sElectronic Times.
If true, the 2016 smartphone line would have a standard 5.2-inch version with straight sides and a larger 5.5-inch variant with curved sides. This would deviate from the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edgephones of 2015, which both debuted with 5.1-inch screens -- though the Edge had curved sides.
Samsung has remained the only phone-maker to use a vertically curve-edged display -- LG's G Flex and G Flex 2 slightly curved downward at its middle. Since last year's demand for the Galaxy S6 Edge initially outstripped supply at one point, there's some question whether Samsung has learned from last year's release.
Samsung reportedly plans to have five million handsets ready to go at launch, comprised of 3.3 million Galaxy S7's and 1.7 million Galaxy S7 Edge's.
Various rumors have tossed around launch dates as early as next week at Las Vegas' enormous CES conference -- this would be ahead of Samsung's typical cycle -- as well as February 20 as part of Barcelona's Mobile World Congress trade show, Samsung's usual venue.
Other recent rumors suggest that the Galaxy S7 could have an iris scanner for unlocking the phone with your eyes, USB Type-C charging, and a pressure-sensitive display similar to 3D Touch on the Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Check out our full list of Galaxy S7 rumors for more.
